Running Debug Version of GuiXT Server

Enabling and running the debug version of GuiXT Server.

In addition to the standard release of GuiXT Server, Synactive also has a debug version available. This can be useful in timers when you need to obtain more information to pass to SYnactive Support or DEvelopment. The debug version is only available from a Synactive Sales or Suport representative and will be installed according to their instructions. To run a debug version, please do the following.

1. Obtain a debug version of the current GuiXT Server from a Synactive Sales or Support representative.

   Important: Debug versions are not typically available unless approved and supervised by a Synactive Support representative.
2. Stop and close all instances of GuiXT Server on the target system.
3. OPen a command prompt.
4. Enter the following into the prompt window: sapproxy_debug.exe -debug
5. A new command window will appear containing detailed trace information.
