Checking values for indexed variables

You must use the set command to check for the value of an indexed variable. The set command will obtain the value of that variable as shown in the following example.

Open the VA01 screen.

Open the VA01 script file and input the following code:

            
            set("V[z_temp]" , "&V[z_variable&V[idx]]");
            if (z_temp == "value") {
            println("The value of z_temp is>>>" +Z_temp);
            }

Save your changes and refresh the screen.
Open the Console and verify that the line did or did not print out. If the value you entered is indeed the value in the specified variable, the console will print out the value.
