Using rfcconnect arrays.
If multiple servers are targeted, we can use a rfcconnect array as shown in the following example:
rfcconnect = [
"ifdatabase=AD4, client=600, ashost=TEST4.SAMPLE.NET, sysnr=00",
"ifdatabase=AD2, client=600, ashost=TEST04.SAMPLE.NET, sysnr=02",
"ifdatabase=AT4, client=600, ashost=TEST6.SAMPLE.NET, sysnr=04",
"ifdatabase=AT7, client=600, ashost=TEST06.SAMPLE.NET, sysnr=02"];
Note: The rfcconnect array statement is also placed in the
guixt.sjs file.
in the preceding example, the parameters are as follows:
-
ifdatabase
- Defines the SAP database to which the user will be connecting. We have four different databases - AD4, AD2, AT4, and AT7
-
client
- Defines the system number of the target SAP application server. In all cases in our array, the client will be '600'.
-
ashost
- Defines the name of the target server. In our example, the names are all on the sample.net domain and are 'TEST4', 'TEST04', 'TEST6' and 'TEST06'.
-
sysnr
- Defines the system number of the target server. in our example, the system numbers are 00, 02 and 04.
