The gettableattribute command gets the attributes of a SAP or GuiXT table.
Tables are an integral part of using SAP. It is therefore necessary to understand how to manipulate tables and both add and extract data from those tables. We will learn how to manipulate the columns of a table using the columnsize and columnwidth methods. However, there are additional aspects to tables as well.
To fully utilize the tables in SAP, it is important to know the properties and attributes of a given table; without knowing the attributes and properties it is not possible to edit tables or the data contained therein. The gettableattribute command allows SAP users to display both the attributes and the properties of a selected table. The gettableattribute command uses the following syntax:
gettableattribute("T[Table_name]", {"firstvisiblerow":"FVisRow", "lastvisiblerow":"LVisRow", "lastrow":"LastRow"});
The gettableattribute command takes the following options:
Specifies the first visible row in a given table. The syntax is as follows:
{"firstvisiblerow":"varName"}
Specifies the last visible row in a given table. The syntax is as follows:
{"lastvisiblerow":"varName"}
Specifies the actual last row, visible or not, of a given table. The syntax is as follows:
{"displaycolumnnumber":"number"}
Specifies whether a row is or is not selected. The syntax is as follows:
{"selectedrows":"SelRows"}
